What the role is about
Retail is one of the largest industries in the world. It is also one of the least equipped to operate at the speed the market now demands. Product data fragmented across systems. Catalog operations still run on spreadsheets. Entire teams whose job is to fix what should never have broken.
The companies that will define the next decade of commerce are the ones that solve this at the infrastructure level. Not with more people, but with agents that take the work off the table.
CommerceClarity is building that infrastructure. The product works. The first customers are live and expanding. Now we need someone to take it to the market it deserves.
As Enterprise Account Executive you own the full sales cycle with enterprise retailers and brands in Italy. You run deep discovery, you sell a different way of operating, and you turn what you learn in the field into the playbook that scales the motion.
Why this role is different
You will not inherit a territory, a script, or a CRM full of somebody else’s leads.
The buyers are real decision-makers: heads of ecommerce, CIOs and operations leaders at enterprise retailers and brands. The problem is visceral and well understood. The answer is genuinely new. This is consultative selling in the truest sense, because you are not selling features, you are selling a different way of operating.
What you learn in the field reshapes the product. What you close funds the roadmap.
What you would do
- Own the full sales cycle with enterprise retailers and brands.
- Work with the founders to pressure-test and adapt the playbook, sharpening ICP fit, discovery quality and deal structure as the motion scales.
- Manage and grow a network of technology partners and resellers.
- Run deep discovery to surface the pain around catalog operations, time to market and channel complexity.
- Bring market signal, competitive intelligence and the feature gaps that close deals back to product.
- Work with Customer Success so a deal is set up for retention and expansion, not only for signature.
- Represent CommerceClarity at industry events, trade fairs and with strategic partners.
- Optimize for the company’s long-term success, not only for your own target.
What we are looking for
Essential
- Five to seven years of B2B SaaS sales, ideally in retail technology, ecommerce or adjacent.
- A record of closing enterprise deals on your own.
- Experience running both direct and partner-led motions.
- You build structure where there is none, without needing a perfect brief to start.
- Sharp on the phone, tight in writing, adaptable in the room with different buyer personas.
- You think in outcomes rather than activities, and you push back when the process is slowing the result.
- The rigour of somebody who has sold into complex organizations, and the ambition of somebody who wants to build rather than execute.
- Fluent Italian and English.
Preferred
- You have sold AI or automation to retail, brand or ecommerce buyers.
- You have been an early or founding sales hire, and shaped a go-to-market function.
- Familiarity with enterprise buying that involves IT, operations and C-suite sign-off.
The team you would join
Our founders have spent their careers building and operating retail at scale. They have founded retail companies generating tens of millions in revenue, launched and scaled Amazon’s operations in Italy and Spain, led operations at Everli across more than 2,000 employees, and shaped product direction at Shopify and Zalando. Operator, founder, product leader. Every seat that defined modern European commerce.
What we offer
- Ownership. Your deals reach production fast, and shape the go-to-market playbook directly.
- Growth. A high-impact team, real commercial complexity, tight feedback loops.
- An ambitious roadmap. Help define the commercial infrastructure for agentic commerce in Europe.
- Flexible hybrid. The Milan hub, three days a week minimum, plus four remote weeks a year.
