Any model can write. Knowing your rules is the work.

The rules your team never wrote down, the systems your data already lives in, and what the market and the law require. The agent reads all of it before it writes.

Inside your company

Your rules, and where each one holds

What you always say and never say, which source may fill which attribute, how a unit is written, what a category has to state. Most of it was never written down. It lives with the people who have been there longest.

The rules themselves
Claims you refuse, terms you approve, and the source each attribute may read from.
Where each one holds
A rule can be true for one family in one market and nowhere else. The agent is told which.

Where your data lives

It reads your systems. It does not replace them.

The supplier feed, the PIM, the ERP, the DAM, the barcode. Each field is mapped once to a canonical name, and the finished record goes back to the system your team already works in. You keep one catalog, where it lives today.

Questions

Questions we get asked

What counts as context for a catalog agent?
Three things: the rules inside your company and where each one holds, the systems your product data already lives in, and what happens outside them, search demand and what a regulated category has to state.
Most of our rules were never written down. Is that a blocker?
No, it is the normal starting point. A category, the glossary if there is one, and the two people who know the rest is enough to begin. Writing the rules down is part of the work, and it is what the first weeks produce.
Do you migrate our data to run this?
No. We read the supplier feed, the PIM, the ERP and the DAM where they are, map each field once to a canonical name, and send the finished record back to your system of record. You keep one catalog.
Can a rule apply to only part of the catalog?
Almost every one does. The scope is stored with the rule, so a rule that is true only for Apparel in Germany is applied only there.
Where does the outside context come from?
Search demand for the words buyers actually use, what the AI assistants answer about your category, and the requirements a regulated product has to state. None of it is yours to control, and all of it changes what the record has to say.

A category, the glossary if you have one, and the two people who know the rest. That is where context starts.
